Come alive with music and colour: Goa carnival 2007

Providing a healthy entertainment for all, young and old, the weeklong non-stop festival of colour, song and music, starts on 16th Feb 2007 and ends on 22nd February. Enjoy the gay abandon-ness and riotous revelry of the carnival, which falls this time in purple season, at Club Mahindra Varcha Beach resort.

Club Mahindra Ooty resort once again joins the star league and has received the RCI SILVER CROWN AWARD for 2006.

Another feather in the cap: Community Service by Chennai and Coorg Teams


Happy faces, beaming smiles and a content heart. This is the gift that Club Mahindra Chennai has been giving through their community services. On 19th August, 2006, senior citizens at the Vishranthi Home for the Aged, Chennai, were the most happy lot.




The old ladies, most of them above 65 years, had a ball of a time as they participated in the programme held especially for them. Senthil of RAJ TV brought uproars of laughter through his mimicry and a magical spell was cast by Shelley’s magic tricks. All this was followed by lunch for all the inmates. We thank and congratulate the Chennai Team for bringing smiles to the lonely hearts.
Club Mahindra Coorg extended their generous heart and their warmth to the children of 4 schools in Galibeedu Panchayat. On 3rd June, 2006, school-children were the happy recipients of school bags and umbrellas. Present on the occasion were Mr. Boopanna, President, Galibeedu Panchayat, Mr. Udayan Damodharan, Sr. Manager-Human Resources and Mr. Vijay Mohan, Coorg resort manager.
   
 

Special needs… Special facilities

Binsar, Goa and Munnar resorts of Club Mahindra offer special facilities for their differently-abled guests.
Binsar resort has a Studio apartment, situated on the ground floor for guests with special needs. Special attention has been paid for guests on a wheelchair—wooden ramp to enter the room, bigger main door and bathroom door. Inside the bathroom too there is an additional support affixed on the wall for the guest to hold and take bath.
Goa resort provides a 1-bedroom apartment with ramp facility for easy entrance. Bathroom facilities are especially fitted keeping in mind the needs of the guests with special needs. There is an adjustable wash-basin, soap dish, WC and a grab bar in the shower.
At Munnar a 2-bedroom apartment is available on a lower level with a ramp for easy access to the room. Plus the washroom, which is larger than those in regular rooms, has specially fitted grab bars to assist the differently-abled guest.
