We had a very happy and fantastic holiday at Poovar from 15th to 19th May, 2006. The floating resort was a totally different experience for all of us. The trip from the ferry point to the resort itself is very beautiful and scenic.

Kerala is a lush coastal region,
Cool bracing climate is its season.Palm trees and lazy waterfalls,Golden beaches decked with sandy halls.
But Munnar is an awesome place,
It is Mother Nature with a green face.Sanctuaries and national parks,Wild birds and beautiful larks.
The lush green tea leaves, Gently swaying to the cool breeze, Winding roads that lead to resort,Lashing rain that doesn’t seem to stop.

In the third week of June, along with my daughters Aditi and Shikha and my wife Pushpa, I set out for Poovar Island Resort. I was quite apprehensive about our holiday experience. But how wrong I was. From the pickup point to the resort, the staff was helpful everywhere. The double-room cottage was excellent and gave us the feeling that we were really floating. Luckily, the rain gods were kind to us and there was bright sunshine all through our stay. We enjoyed swimming, relaxing massages, playing carom and all the buffets—breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recently, my family and I were at Munnar resort, where we really enjoyed our stay. It felt like home away from home. The holiday was relaxing as well as entertaining for all of us. My grandchildren had a nice time at the children’s play area and activity room, my children enjoyed the sauna bath, and all of us feel re-charged after such a holiday. My holiday experience with Club Mahindra is always exciting, joyful and comfortable. So was it this time too at Goa and Coorg. If you are looking for a spot of dolphin-watching and miles of clean sand, Varca beaches are perfect. Deep forest, fish-speckled stream, cascading waterfalls and game sanctuary are just some of the little known delights of the pocket-sized district of Coorg. Coorg is much more than coffee. Each apartment with a view of the jungle is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It is great to be where no one is hassling you to buy souvenirs or postcards. Where you can see what you want to, do what you wish. Coorg is remarkably free of tourist trappings. We were so impressed by the Kodagu traditional costumes that we couldn’t resist getting ourselves photographed in them. The Hello magazine for July 2006 was awesome. Also thanks very much for the wonderful pictures of Sydney Opera house. And now my trip to Goa! Heaven on earth. And that too with Club Mahindra.It was my second trip to Goa but this one was very special because I was on my honeymoon. My wife and I are thankful to all the staff members at Goa resort. Trust me, I’m not exaggerating when I say there is no better place than Club Mahindra to make such a special occasion a lasting memory. This time too my studio was more than my expectation. We visited Coorg in Karnataka in June 2006 and were delighted to enjoy the serenity and peace of nature, far from the maddening crowd of the cities. The stay at this resort was blissful and magnificent. All the amenities like swimming pool, health club, beauty parlour, sports club, etc. were superb. The sumptuous meal was the chief attraction of this place. We forgot all the woes and worries of this physical world and enjoyed the bounties of the haven created by greenery all around.
