offers pure vegetarian food (Rs.250 per adult and (Rs.250 per

members. A 10% discount on food has been negotiated for RCI
members.

Sightseeing
Arthur's Seat Point - Arthur's seat point is an exotic and
picturesque spot, overlooking the konkan. On the way to Arthur's
point are the ancient Temples of Lord Shiva, 'Gau-Mukha' -
Connected to a source of water. This is supposed to be the source
of the five Deccan Rivers - viz, Krishna,
Koyna, Veena, and Savitri & Gayatri.
Elphinstone
Point - The other places of interest here for holiday makers are
the Echo Point, Malkam Point, Tiger Spring, Hunter Point, Castle
Rock Point, Savitri Point, Elphiston point, Cannought Peak Point,
Wilson Point (Sunrise Point), Bombay Point (Sunset Point) and the
Babington Point.
Krishna valley
- The Krishna valley depicts the beautiful calligraphy of nature
and a beautiful location for nature explorers and fun seekers.
Panchgini
- A neighboring Hill Station - (A famous education center).
Venna Lake - The
Venna Lake is a great attraction to everybody with its dazzling
sight, boating, facilities and stalls for games and eatables. It
is within walking distance from Town (mahabaleshwar).
Pratap
Gadh - At a distance of 25 kms from Mahabaleshwar stands the
majestic Pratapgadh housing the tomb of Afzalkhan at the toe of
the fort. There is a temple of bhavani mata, the idol of worship
of King Shivajiraje Bhosle. There is a statue of Shivaji Maharaj
inside the fort called Bale killa.
