The term lifestyle includes many aspects of our lives—from what we choose to wear to how we decorate our homes, and from how we live day-to-day to how we spend our holidays. By choosing a specific lifestyle approach, we say that we not only want to look different but we also want to live differently.

There are several ways that people choose to enhance their lifestyle. One of them is by learning new things. Holidays and spare time can be spent in exciting, productive and enjoyable ways if one has the eagerness and inclination to learn something new.

Trendsetting

Develop hobbies or indulge in creative pursuits like learning a new language, classical or light music, playing a musical instrument, enhancing your dancing skills or getting yourself trained in a sport you haven’t tried before like golf, tennis, swimming, etc. You could also discover the pleasures of photography, painting, sculpture, pottery, needlework and so many other activities that bring out your creative side. Making a commitment to learn something new gives you confidence and increases your self-esteem.

Acquiring a skill is not restricted to kids and youngsters alone. Adults could also set aside some time during the week to do something that interests them and takes their mind off from everyday chores and worries. One gets lost in the hustle and bustle of life. Diverting one’s mind and concentrating on something that makes them feel good makes for a happier and healthier personality.

The Feel Good Factor

Learning something that interests you is the best way to a better lifestyle as it opens up a whole lot of opportunities for the future and makes your life more meaningful. You feel good as a person as you actively participate in doing things that you are happy about and that give you immense satisfaction.

Apart from acquiring the usual degree or diploma, acquisition of a new talent will give you an edge over others in this competitive world.

Loving what you Do

If you’re getting bored with your office routine, you can turn your hobby into your profession. Your yen for learning a foreign language, can take you places and it fulfils your thirst for travel as well. If painting is your passion, you can showcase your work. Invest in what you like doing the most—start a dance or music class of your own and teach others. When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work at all.

Positive influence

Indulging in activities that interests you will bring about a positive change in your thinking and your attitude towards life, at the same time increasing your social circle. It also develops your overall personality—your communication, social, and leadership skills. You will be more open to others and create a positive influence on those who are around you.

Many lifestyle groups have understood the benefits of learning and spending your leisure time productively. For example, Club Mahindra encourages its members to participate in activities available at and around their resorts while you holiday with them. Countless hobby classes of varied interests have sprouted up everywhere you look. It is up to you to take the initial step forward and take yourself and your family towards a better life.

Your Club Mahindra resorts offer a range of exiciting activities. Find out more details from the Holiday Activity Centre during your next holiday.
