There is sometimes nothing more enjoyable than the unpredictability of weather! We have been experiencing some welcome showers across the country, delaying the summer heat. Well, most certainly welcome in Chennai!

Even as we herald the ‘spring’ of 2008, I dedicate this issue to the children of our member families, who are either undergoing or have recently undergone their examinations. All the very best to all you young ones!

In the previous issue of HELLO , we proudly announced that the company is now a Super Brand.

I am proud to share with all our member families that our Chairman, Mr Arun Nanda, has been conferred the award of the ‘Knight of the Legion of Honour’ by the French Government. It gives us at Club Mahindra a sense of confidence to know that we are guided and have the support of such a respected and dedicated person.

The company has always strived towards innovating all aspects of your holiday experience. One such major innovation has been in the area of the sheer variety of cuisine and ‘fun dining’ value for money packages. It is no wonder that we have an award winning Chef in our midst. Our Corporate Executive Chef Soundararajan has been conferred the ‘Best Chef of the Year Special Award’, by the Ministry of Tourism.

Of noteworthy mention is the company bagging the ‘Avaya GlobalConnect Award for Customer Responsiveness’. This honour is awarded based on an independent survey conducted by A. C. Neilson on various aspects of customer service.

I think most of us are aware of the increasing interest and proactive measures being taken to protect natural habitats and wildlife. To this end, our April – June issue of HELLO covers information on many of India’s most beautiful and well maintained reserves.
